Medications

We use Suboxone, Vivitrol and other medications to help manage withdrawal symptoms. This makes the treatment process safer and more comfortable. Our team of medical professionals will perform a thorough assessment as part of your intake process. Your progress is carefully monitored. A doctor or nurse practitioner will prescribe appropriate medication when deemed necessary.

What to bring to an addiction recovery center

• Comfortable, seasonally appropriate clothing. (no short-shorts, spaghetti straps, strapless tops, or clothing depicting drug/alcohol use, profanity, or gang symbols)
• Alcohol free toiletries. This includes: shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, deodorant, packaged safety razors, shaving cream, toothbrush, toothpaste, makeup remover towelettes, makeup, and hair styling products.
• Packaged, unopened cigarettes. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas outdoors.
• ID and Insurance Card
• Books, journals

What not to bring

• All electronics, including cell phone, video games, iPad/iPod, computers, unless pre authorized by your treatment team.
• Perfume, cologne, or mouthwash, unless clearly labeled “Alcohol Free”.
• Weapons of any kind.
• Drug paraphernalia
• Valuables, including large amounts of cash, jewelry, or designer goods
